We are organizing a monthly fat bike ride here in Utah. The first will be Saturday, November 16. We will be meeting at Mad Dog Cycles in Orem (360 E. 800 S.). That same morning from 9:00-10:00 am Mad Dog is offering a free clinic on Winter riding. We will leave from the parking lot at 10:00 am. We will most likely have 2 pickup trucks where we can put bikes as we will be driving to a trailhead. If conditions are right we will ride the Coyote Canyon Loop in Heber Valley. Here is a link to a route description (go to the Trails tab and Heber Valley). It is a very nice 20 mile loop through sage brush and aspen forests.

Each month we will select a new trail (hopefully with input from other local riders) and coordinate carpooling to the trailhead. We won’t limit our rides to Utah Valley as we would like to see the trails in Salt Lake Valley and further north. I hear there are some great trails in the Ogden area.
